The Bread of Life Food Pantry is a welcoming environment for those who visit us to access food. In order to make your experience positive, Bread of Life staff and volunteers create an environment of mutual respect and care for all clients.

1. What kind of food will I get?
You will receive nutritious foods on each visit. This will include both canned/packaged food and fresh food like milk, fresh produce, vegetables, or meat.

2. Where are you located?

Our address is 38-49 12th Street Long Island City, NY 11101. We are located on 12th Street between 38th and 40th avenue.

3. What are your pantry hours?

Tuesdays 12p - 3p, Wednesdays 11a - 2p & Thursdays 12p - 3p.

4. Will I get to choose what kind of food I get?
While all supplies are not available every day, we do our best to provide the same things to all clients on each visit.

5. Will it be embarrassing to come to a food pantry?
All clients are treated with dignity and respect. We speak to you privately and confidentially regarding your financial and personal situation. People from all different walks of life use a food pantry, so don’t worry that you and your family will be put in an embarrassing situation.
